I've been professionally writing and editing for more than 15 years now, and I'm still that person that likes talking about parts of speech.

My career has led me to the intersection of digital and content. I love knowing who is reading what, and why, and for how long, and what they get out of it. I find fulfillment in discovering if they prefer the longer, more lavish sentences full of sweeping adjectives and fluffy, verbose phrases. I like that I can tell if they don't. And I can shift my language (and my subject matter) accordingly.

As a writer, the digital realm is what I've been waiting for since I first learned how to diagram a complex sentence. My art doubles as a science, and I treat it as such.
